The Journey

The Journey

The Creative Experience begins as we set sail from the shores that we know and move off into open water to discover our treasure.

As we set sail, we will consider where we've been and where we are heading.

We are on an adventure and although the seas might seem bewildering, we must lose sight of the shore to discover new lands. We will find the treasure chest and open it to see what's inside - riches beyond belief. We will engage all our emotions and senses, this nautical adventure could become a life changing experience.

Questions answered

  • What sort of trainer am I?
  • What beliefs and values do I hold?
  • What sort of trainer do I want to be?
  • How do I experience creativity?
  • What are my preferences in the Innovation Process? (Innovation 3 Innovation Preference Inventory and Development Guide - provides feedback on individuals preferences)

At the start of our journey we will begin our Learning Logs, these will hold our learning points and reflections as we explore creative learning and development.

This is an opportunity to get to know ones self and everyone else better. We will break down barriers to being creative and offer strategies for the future. We will be experimenting with techniques which will be explained during the Programme. Learning through direct experience is the aim of this workshop.

Then our journey takes us to lands of New Life Potential and Active Learning!

A chance to get out of our box (or boat), to explore a wonderland of models and strategies for helping people learn. Now we put what we have experienced and learnt into practice on dry land. A chance to prove what a worthy crew we are, having found and opened our treasure chests we can now help others to find and open theirs. We can become captains of our own ships.

Questions answered

  • How can I help people learn?
  • How can I make learning more effective?
  • What can I do to make learning fun?
  • How can I make the difference?

Utilising all our experience to date, we can now apply this additional learning to our training roles. More information will be given on training design and delivery using Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Accelerated Learning techniques.

We have found that people benefit both personally and professionally from the programme and our aim is to motivate and inspire them to apply that learning to their roles as training providers.

The Adventure Chronicles

This is a further opportunity to come to a day of tales from your crew, find out how they have been making use of the treasures they have found.

"Land ahoy", we will drop anchor, and take some time to review our adventure and how useful it has been. Time to catch up with the crew and plan the next trip. We are captains of our own ships now, how different is life? We can pick up some more pearls of wisdom and then journey on.

Questions answered

  • What have I learnt?
  • What do I do differently?
  • What hasn't worked yet?
  • What, if anything, do I still need?
  • How can I get more learning?

This workshop is a review, follow-up and reflection on our journey. We invite the crew to return for a day to tell the tales of their experiences. We can learn from all the adventures and share ideas. There will be time to reflect on how the learning journey continues for individuals and offer a little more creativity.
